Super-Fudgalicious Brownies

Hyphenation is so wrong in baby names but in Super-Fugalicious, it works. I won’t include a photo of the brownies due to the fact that I removed then from the pan too soon and they’re in a fudgey, delicious heap.

This is my third brownie experiment adapted from the 1997 Better Homes and Gardens spiral, red and white checkered Cookbook.

Cake brownies are so very wrong, here’s the recipe for brownies that are oh so right:

1 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup margarine(I love Best Choice Margarine, it always, “softened,” straight from the tub and dirt cheap!)

3/4 cup all purpose flour(why does self rising flour exist? It’s pointless, always have baking powder and baking soda in your pantry along with all purpose flour)

1 egg

2 quick splashes of warm tap water

Preheat oven to 350

Microwave margarine, mix with cocoa and sugar. Stir in flour, egg and the little bit of water. Should be smooth and good and thick batter. Divide equally between two greased non stick loaf pans. Bake for 20 minutes, turn heat down to 325 for ten minutes, remove from oven and cool completely!!! Slice, serve and watch them disappear!
