This is the recipe from yesterday’s post, I captioned the photo that the results were pending. I have to say, it turned out tasty and it stayed a loaf and didn’t crumble. An important step was letting it rest about an hour before serving.
1 3/4 lb. ground beef
2 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 sleeve Keebler Club Crackers
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup ketchup, + enough for topping
1 tbsp BBQ sauce
1 large egg
2 slices of bread to line the loaf pan(absorbs excess grease)
Combine the oats and crackers along with the spices in a mini processor, whir them up into fine crumbs. Mix with remaining ingredients, form into a loaf, bake in a 350 degree, preheated oven for 25 minutes, slather top with ketchup, bake another 25 minutes. Let rest at least one hour. Serves 4, Enjoy!
